Don't neighborhoods have to be notified when a sexual offender moves in? I know one was recently released and moved in with his parents and I had no idea he was out yet. Now I am gonna make sure I double lock my doors!

I think that it is very important for people who are charged with any type of sex crimes against children, should not be able to live near a school, even if the crime happend after they lived there. In other words if you are charged w/a sex crime against a minor the state should be able to make them move...NO QUESTIONS ASKED !!!!!!!!

I don't believe in the death penalty, but sex offenders shouldn't be allowed to breathe the same air as we do. They should be rounded up and sent to Mars so they're as far away from us as possible.
THIS IS IN EGUARDS TOO THE PERSON WHO TYPED IN ON MARCH 13TH AT 3;48P.M. I TOO AT ONE POINT FELT THE WAY YOU DO ABOUT THE DEATH PENALITY, BUT MY FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS CHANGED ON THAT THE DAY MY SON CAME TO ME WITH HIS MOLESTATION FROM A FAMILY MEMBER THAT HAD BEEN GOING ON FOR A YEAR OR SO. I AGREE THEY NEED TO NOT BE A PART OF OUR SOCIETY, BUT I DO FEEL THAT BEING SENTENCED TO DEATH WOULD MAKE PARENTS HAPPY OR MYSELF IN ALL HONESTY, WHY SHOULD THEY COME OUT IN OUR SOCIETY AND BE PRONE TO REDO THIS CRIME AGAIN? I HAVE NO REMORSE TOWARDS ANY ONE THAT HURS A CHILD, AND I FEEL THAT SINCE US AS PARENTS CAN NOT HAVE 5 MINUTES ALONE WITH THE ONES WHO HURT OUR CHILDREN, THE DEATH SENTENCE WORKS FOE ME. BUT IN ALL REALITY THAT HARDLT HAPPENS BECAUSE AFTER A YEAR OF FIGHTING THIS IN COURT, THE STEP-BROTHER WHO MOLESTED MY SON ONLY FACES 7 YEARS PRISION TIME, OUT ON GOOD BEHAVIOR WHICH LESSINGS HIS 7 YEARS, AND SINCE THIS WAS ONLY HIS FIRST OFFENCE, AND HE TOOK THE STATES PLEA, THE STATE IS NOT AS HARD ON HIM AS THE TRIAL JURY WOPULD HAVE BEEN. AND THE PARENTS VOICES CAN NOT BE HEARD THROUGHOUT THE PAIN AND HURT THE PERSON CAUSED MY SON, THEREIS SO MUCH THAT I HAVE LEARNED ON HOW THE STATE REALLY WORKS WITH THE VICTIM, NOT EVER THINKING AS A PARENT I WOULD, THAT THEY GET A SECOND CHANCE, BUT OUR CHILDREN DO NOT, THATS WHY AFTER EVERYTHING I HAVE RESEARCHED.SEEN,HEARD,AND COUTRS EVENTS I HAVE BEEN TOO THEY ALL DESEARVE THE DEATH PENALITY.

In regards to punishment assigned to sex offenders, especially offences against children, I can completely relate to the frustration you feel. More and more often, the perpetrator's right seem to be of more concern to the state than the victim's. Then if, on the off chance, the justice system finds the perp. guilty, there is more thought given to overcrowded prisons when sentencing. I also think that if a criminal is sentenced to 10 years then he should serve 10 years. Period. Not 7 years then paroled or 5 years with good behavior. 10 years and not 1 day less. To take it a step further, speaking as someone that had been abused for 6 years, I would like to see prisons built that strickly house those found guilty of rape and sexual abuse and/or molestation. Let them all abuse each other!
No pent up anger here...

Well this is in responce too the person whom agrees on if you get 10 years you should be there that long. I agree 100% percent, But to be honest you are right the State is more for the Preditor then the victiums, After a year long battle, the person who molested my son got sentenced to 7 years prision, 85% percent time done, regestered Life Long preditor. We were told the out come would be diffrent, in which our spirts were up the day of the sentenceing which was the 27th 2007, well everything changed from what we were told, instead of being charged too all 3 counts he was only charged with one which was count 3, we were really upset as a family over the news but what do we say to the state when they come and
change their minds? Well we had plenty but our voice does not matter. Its sadd that they do things this way, and its hard for the children too know what the person did was wrong to them, but yet they get out on good behavior? And I can remember my son saying too me, Mom I hope when he gets out he will not hurt another child again like he did too me! Why would they let him out after what he did? I do not understand. Well I told him with a tear in my eye trying too be strong for him and the hell he has been through this year, Honey I do not either?

I agree that ALL child sex offenders should have the dealth penalty and be publicly humiliated until their last breath is taken from their body because the child is humiliated their whole life, by what some ungodly creature has done to their life!I as all mothers hpoe that this never happens to one of mine (or no child for that matter) because my sentence would be harder and longer than theirs for taking up for my child!!! I think we all know what I mean !!!!!!!!!!

WE NEED ALL THE DADS IN THIS COUNTRY TO STAND UP FOR THEIR RIGHTS...MY FIANCES EX IS CURRENTLY WITH A MAN THAT WAS CONVICTED OF MOLESTING A 12 YEAR OLD AND THE COURT IS MAKING US FIGHT HER FOR CUSTODY OF THE CHILDREN...HOW MESSED UP IS THIS>>>>>
No matter if your a father or a mother when it comes to the States dec... we will never understand why they think, or decide what they do, or say. Sometimes what they say is not the truth as well. Take it from someone whom knows unf... I think their ideas, prision time, and judements are werd, and we know on the outside morem then them as the insiders. Tammy (Hexgirl)

Whats become messed up is the way of the world these days and what its become as a whole... an Ohio mother & Law Enf-wife in fear of her childrens future.
To ENF wife: The registry surely will not make children safe. Actually, the costs of this program are taking money away from child welfare and prtoective services, causing even more harm. Isn't it time that the PARENT take responsibility of THEIR child? The state can never provide protection. Talk to your kids. Teach your children right from wrong and maybe you will find hope.

Does anyone know about underage sexual offenders? Do they have to register?
(IMO) Underage offenders register according to state laws, I believe. Some states yes and others, no. I would suggest you go to your state police or public safety site on the web and see what your state is doing and requiring. If you look at your state laws, you should find a whole section on sexual offender registration requirements. Many states are in the process of rewriting their laws to conform to federal standards. (as if the feds know what is right from wrong ;-)

i think all sexual offenders should go to jail for the rest of there lives they should not be able to work live by schools nothing that has to do with children period parks anything they should all go to jail. get them off the streets.
I used to think that all Offenders should spend the rest of their life in Prision until I have read, and met People who were falsely accused as Offenders. I think the Preditors should be the ones in Prision for a Life Time, because Preditors are not the ones falsely accused, there has to be alot of proff to get that Preditor acknowledgement through the State, thats one thing I can say the States carefull on, except the time spent, when sentenced. My soon to be ex husband is a registerd sex offender, a couple yrs ago he cheated on me with an underage girl, and of course got in trouble.Just because they are sex offenders don't make all of them horrible, I know there are plenty that are but don't judge a book by its cover, you'll find that alot of sex offenders got caught up in that same situation. After all how many of you was with someone younger or someone older and it was around when you was 18

most child predators repeat there crimes even after they have served time. those kind of people need stiffer sentences. I do know a person who was 15 at the time and had skipped school and had sex with a 14 year old who skipped and it was considered rape because the girl was under 15 in that state and he has to register as a sex affender over 19 years ago the incident happened and it says female chid victim he was a child too at the time not saying the incident (punishment didnt fit the crime just if you read his profile its kinda misleading so for me they have codes and says what they did you could get the wrong immpression about a person but im glad they do it because i have children and i want to know whos around me

Having a registry is very good - because it is a good assistance to prevent possible crimes from occurring; However, it does NOT replace a parent's responsibility to teach their children how to not become victims, to be a good listener to their child (without being judgemental....OK - I know that's hard, but the parent needs to keep those comments to him/herself until they have looked at a situation from all angles), and to supervise their children. I hope people support their registry in their respective county - and offer to assist their law enforcement agency in any way possible to help get these deviants behind bars. (oh yeah, I was raped as a small child of about 4 - and then sexually molested a couple of years later. Unfortunately, I did not feel free enough to talk to my parents because I was told if I did, my parents would hate me and blame me for it. I finally worked up the courage to tell them when I was 40. Wow - was I surprised at the support they gave me!)

Does sex offender status registration really protect our children? In Woodsfield, Ohio is a prime example of the need to make our sex crime laws more extreme. In 2004 then Monroe County Coronor Geoffrey Snyder was arrested in northwest Ohio for Importuning. He had several online chats with an undercover officer. The officer, conducting an internet sting operation stated she was 14 years old. Several chats ensued after that with some very explicit detail on what Snyder would like to do to the CHILD sexually. Eventually a meeting was arranged between them and Snyder drove nearly FIVE HOURS across the state to meet this CHILD in hopes of acting out his sexual perversions. Thanksfully the person he met was a Police Officer and Snyder was arrested and booked in jail. He ultimately was convicted of the crime and was deemed a Sexually Oriented Offender. Hardly any jail time was given. At the time of his arrest, he had custody of a young daughter. The thought of that was scary enough. Not saying he ever done anything but you have to wonder. Now this PERVERT is attending JR HIGH sporting events such as girls volleyball. The age of the girls playing is that same age of the intended victim in northwest Ohio. How can the judicial system allow this man to freely attend any event that is packed with girls the same age as his intended prey? This man should not even be on the streets let alone be able to have access to more potential victims. I find myself watching him at these games more than I do watching my own daughter participate in the sport. I hope I never catch him looking at another CHILD in my presence!! He will only hope at that time to have been locked up and not on the receiveing end of " JUSTICE". Read the attached link and decide for yourself. We need to band together as parents and protectors to keep trash like this and thousands of others from having access to our children.

It seems to me that these web sites make it fairly easy for predators to network with other predators and with wayward minors. I have reason to suspect that this is happening in my area. That's actually what drew me to this site tonight. The road to hell is often paved with the best intentions.

My son has been in jail for 3 years he was 21 and he had sex with a 14 year old who may or may not have lied about her age. I taught him better morally and had he listened he would have know for certain how old she was.My son is not a child molester he was an immature young man. In school every report card said imature for his age....Though he is of average intelligence. There are too many young men behind bars for having what they believed to "consentual" sex. Schools need to start educating both boys and girls about ruining your life or someone elses. I had to look for quite some time before I could actually find the age of consent. I think it is crazy to label someone for the REST of Their life when the "victim" did not require counseling or suffer any longterm consequences. The majority of child molesters go unpunished and the sex offender registry serves no purpose. Adults should be responsible for their children and protect them regardless of who or who is not on a list. The list needs to have certain classifications and the laws need to be rewritten. If someone has done something as horrific as molesting a child they should never be out again. Pediphilia is disgusting and when acted on it is unforgiveable. Life should be the sentence then there would be no need for a registry same goes for violent rapists.

I think that all sex offenders should be locked up forever or put in a gas chamber. The fact that they could do something like that is just disgusting. Especially the sex offenders who's victims are merely children.
My only questions to a sex offender would be how and why. Hopefully, someday, all sex offenders will get what they deserve...
My son was molested by his once Uncle, and is now in Prision, and labled a Preditor for life. Just because I feel he did not get what he should now, one day he will, I know that in my heart. I think the True Preidtors should have to pay more then what they do, but then the Offenders are not all True Offenders, so it's not fair for them to have to pay for something they should not have been charged for, since the parents like to press charges when it should not have been. It's a known fact that only 20% of ALL crimes are ever caught...so... that means that 80% get away scott-free. The 20% that
get arrested is divided up as such: 8% walk away free because of a lack of
evidence to prosecute or there is a failure with "do process of the law"; the
remaing 12% is also divided up as such: about 8% either lose in court or take a plea bargain; the remaing 4% win their cases in court and walk away free. So, that leaves us with a WOPPING 8% of people going to jail or prison on a scale of 1% to 100%...that is pretty sorry if you ask me. The fact remains that for every sex offender that gets caught there is 4 that never will. Our laws and system is causing us to live in total fear these days:
Terrorist, child molesters, rapists, murders, etc. At the same time they are
robbing us of our rights; freedom of speech is on it's way out; we have a president who doesn't think he has to obey the Constitution of our country;
My parents were never
molested and I was never molested; I have three sons and a stepdaughter
and eleven grandchildern and none of them have ever been molested, because we were all watched by our parents and taught good moral values!
A very small percentage of child molesters are out running around trying to abduct a child and when that does happen the news media blast it all over the place and get everyone stirred up and AWAY WE GO!!!!! The largest percentage of child molesters are within ones family or a close
friend of the family. Watch your childern!!! I know what I've said here is true because I have a close friend who works in law enforcement and we have talked about all of this stuff.
Ya'll take care and WATCH YOU KIDS.

I believe we must protect our children. I feel that if the crime is committed against a child then it should hold a very stiff penalty. If it was my child then I guess it would hold a death penalty and I would become a criminal (I would kill and die for my child). The draw back is these crimes often are hard to prove and the evidence is at many times destroyed prior to any investigation being conducted. The system is set up to protect the rights of the victim and the rights of the offender; If the police officer does His/her job, the prosecutor does his or her job and the defense does it's job the system works. Police are not allowed the training needed and this is a very important factor to doing thier job. The data base registry is a tool that both law enforcement and the public uses and is necessary to protect the children of our community.
Posted by anon (not registered) on Nov 15, 2007 09:08 AM
It all sounds good, except it cannot or has not been proven that the registry protects children. Those on the registry that would commit the crime again, do. Those that are one time offenders and turn their life around on the registry do not reoffend. In any state, offenses continue to be done by people NOT on a registry. Also, justice is dished out by judges. The judge is governed by manmade law. The registry on the other hand is a "tactic" of the Dept. of Justice. It also excludes child killers. Seems to me that something is wrong there.

I have been reading the comments listed above and I have to disagree. This is my first visit to this website and I found a predator who lives on my street. As a mother I can guarantee that I will be wary of this person and the crimes that he has committed. I will be watchful of my child and more closely moniter outside activities. I realize that this website does not provide all types of information regarding crimes against children but I feel that it is a good start in educating parents of the threats that reside in their neighborhoods. As for one of the above listed comments......not all children, who have been molested, have unattentive parents. I am not trying to be negative or attacking in any way but that is a completely generalized statement and can be very demeaning to those who come from wonderful, caring, households and have lived through childhood molestation.

i AM ENGAGED TO BE MARRIED TO A MAN WHO HAS TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER FOR HAVING SEX WITH A GIRL WHO LIED ABOUT HER AGE SAID SHE WAS 18 AND SHE WAS 17 (2 DAYS LATER SHE TURNED 18) AND THEN SAID HE RAPED HER. FUNNY THING IS EVERYTIME SHE WAS TO SHOW UP IN COURT SHE WASNT THERE NOR WERE HER PARENTS. WHEN ASKED IF SHE WANTED TO PRESS CHARGES SHE SAID NO IT NEVER HAPPENED. WELL THE STATE OF OHIO PRESSED CHARGES ON HIM NOT THE GIRL OR HER PARENTS THAT IS A CROCK. WE HAVE A 6 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER TOGETHER PLUS HE HAS 2 CHILDREN FROM A PREVIOUS MARRIAGE. IF SOMEONE DID THAT TO THEM YOU BETTER BELIEVE I WOULD BE PRESSING CHARGES. THE STATE HAD NO BUISNESS PRESSING CHARGES WHEN THE GIRL SAID NO. IT IS NOW CHANGED WHERE HE HAD TO REGISTER FOR ANOTHER 3 YEARS AND THAT HAS NOW BEEN CHANGED TO REGISTERING FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE EVERY 90 DAYS! WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE THINKING? HE DID HIS TIME AND HAS ALSO BEEN EVALUATED AS NEVER AGAIN TO REOFFEND!
Ohio dec 8 anon: I thought registry of sex offenders every three months is only required for sex with a child under twelve. Whats up with this?

no I am a sex offender who plead guilty to sexually battery in 1998 with an adult female who never showed up to court but state pressed the charges.I ran out of money and accepted a plea deal. I was supposed to register for 10 yaears but under a new ohio law now I will have to register every 3 months for life and have community notification. I have 2 young boys and have been married for 7 years. I work 2 jobs and have never been in trouble since. what a waste of time and money. Most people are so ignorant of who is on the list and the level of danger associated with these classifications it is so scary. I have hired a lawyer to fight this new law but with the hysteria that is evident by these posts I have little hope.
I have looked at and read much of the Ohio law. I have never seen so much garbly gook in my life! In your case, it might be a good thing the fed. law comes to be. I don't know if it will apply to you, but if you look at the fed. 2006 adam walsh bill, you might qualify to be excused from registration with clean record after 10 years. I'm no lawyer, but Check it out.

I am not sure if anyone is aware but the SB 10 law is already being brought to the supreme court by other offenders. They like my fiance have to register as a sexual oriented offender and with the SB 10 law that is almost like a rapist. The SB 10 law violates several Ohio constititutional laws. Ohio had till 2009 to come up with a plan but were to lazy to weed thngs out and didnt care about the other children involved such as I just read this mans to boys or my fiances son and daughter and our 6 month old. There were changes also made that were against the constitution to make. You do not have to hire an attorney as it is the Ohio Public defenders and equal rights groups and a couple of others fighting for us. So please keep up hope.

Do any of you realize how stupid you sound? some of you really show your intelligence with what you post. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO MADE A MISTAKE AND HAVE DONE THERE TIME AND HAVE WENT ON WITH THERE LIFE AND HAVE CHILDREN WHO ARE GONNA SUFFER GREATLY BECAUSE OF THERE ACTIONS.
ALOT of you are placing sex offenders in the same catagory and that is discrimination. Each and every case is different. With the state of Ohio passing this law they bit off more than they can chew. As for telling someone where they can not live when they have children thats wrong.
I Think you people are so ignorant, especially regarding sexual issues. Its about sex folks. Those that condem others and their differences, will ultimalely be judged also one day. Those that speak loudest, often are infact what they are preaching against. EX: Those who hate Homosexuals, are often homosexual themselfes. The law needs to lower the age of consent! Plan and simple. Have a good day you ignoramouses!
scottish01: Now using your own theory, does that mean when you call others "you ignoramouses", that it is possible that you are an ignoramouse yourself? Hey, its your theory...sorry.

I feel each and every case is different and the only ones that are a offending are the ones that have offended before and are repeat offenders and pediphiles. I feel that Ohio was very quick to jump on the band wagon and also very lazy to come up with a better kind of plan. We have 35,000 offenders in Ohio alone and again each and every one of those 35,000 offenders cases are different. That is discrimination you can not lable everyone the same and say well you only had to register for 10 years now your doing it for the rest of your life. These were agread contracts with the state that were broken! The state was very lazy and didnt want to weed through what they had to deal with.

I agree that all BABY RAPERS should rot in hell and have the same torture done to them but to classify every one who is a sex offender with out even getting to know the facts behind there case and finding out what it is they did as a piece of S**T , and the scum of the earth is just plain stupid every one makes mistakes no one is prefect and im sure we have all been close to hurting some one before ( one to many beers and a set of car keys is all it takes to totaly destroy someones whole world) but i see no one else being ridiculed and put on display like animals , im not saying that the registration and public display of the offender is wrong in anyway . but while were at it wouldnt you like to know if the house you daughter walks by everyday on the way to school has been arrested twice for dealin dope , but right drug hurts no ones family heroin, cocaine, and crack are great for the community . how about drunk drivers , wheres a website for them , and murderers , thief's does the public not have the right to know the guy next door broke in to a few houses a few years ago . i am in no way comparing the horribleness of child molestation with robbery but a crime is a crime , a criminal is still a criminal
but with the new registration laws no matter what you do or how good you are , or even how much you do for your community , you will still at the end of the day be nothing but a piece of crap sexual deviant and i really dont feel thats fair , people wonder why so many re-offend mabey it has something to do with no matter what they do to change there life and show the world they have changed and there still nothing ( if everyone calls you a slut everyday and reminds you your a slut ) chances are your going to be or continue to be a slut , and no offense meant to the woman who made the comment about the offender that goes to the school games where her daughter is and quote " she watches HIM more then she does her own DAUGHTER " ma bey just mabey thats part of there reason the world is the way it is . it is ultimately the parents job to protect our children ...WATCH THEM keep a eye on them . no one is going to kidnap the offender ...but he could hurt her .... so protect and watch your children ....alot more then you do the guy next door
Posted by Anonymous (not registered) on Dec 22, 2007 06:45 PM
and no offense meant to the woman who made the comment about the offender that goes to the school games where her daughter is and quote " she watches HIM more then she does her own DAUGHTER " ma bey just mabey thats part of there reason the world is the way it is .
Yes no offence to her however does she not realize he must have a child involved in these school games? and made a mistake in the past and is trying to move on? If on the other hand he does not have a child involved in such school games then he does not have any buisness being there at all. This is the problem I am having with this our daughter is 6 months old and buy the time she turned 5 he would no longer have to register now that has changed unless it is won by the supreme court by the 2 women involved and he does not have to register any longer. The 2 older children have suffered enough from this and it is very unfair. If he has to register for life then I will home school my daughter and try to give her the best life possible. I am very glad that the state wants to protect our children however fed the rest of the children involved to the wolves suffering from there parents mistakes. WAY TO GO OHIO. :-(

these sexuall predators are not doing what they are supposed to and are claiming addresses as homeless , there is no reason for this instead of setting speed traps and things much less important , law enforcement should be out there everyday getting justice for these innocent children who have to suffer a life of torture due to what these people have donr to them , and eventually if law enforcement doen't do anything , the family's are goint to take it in to there own hands. We should have the right to walk in our towns and let our kids play at the parks without these perverts being present , so lets take a stand and make it safer for our children . I was molested as a child and feel that these offenders should have no rights to anything , they should be put on an island far away and made to fend for themselves , there should be sharks all the way around this island so they can never secape and die if they try . there is no help for these people nomatter what anyone says, they have a disease and should live torture like their victimds.
mel: Its obvious that you have issues (IMHO)and lots of anger. I suggest you get some help with this hatred. What was done to you is not right, but you need to find ways to get on with your life instead of worrying about chasing down offenders. Offenders are often homeless because they are unable to get jobs or homes after incarceration. The offender laws have promoted loss of employment for those wishing to start life over. Some offenders are under punished and some over punished. The feds and states were warned that the registry would force offenders underground...the dangerous offenders anyway. They were also told by experts in the field that it would take money and time away from issues that need to be addressed by the states....that it would actually hurt children by withdrawing funds for social services. We/you reap what you sow in my opinion.

Do you not realize that not ALL Sex offenders are predaters? probably not. Alot of the offenders have made bad choices and just trying to move on such as my fiance. It has NEVER been an issue of him having contact with his son and daughter we gave birth to a little girl who is now 7 months. If i thought for one min he was a sexually violent person I would NEVER be with someone like that nor would I have a child with him. He is labled a sexual orriented offender and was charged with sexual battery which has no mandatory sentencing! He has been to a forensic physologist and they said he is of NO danger to the public and will never reoffend. Not to mention the court stated it was NOT a sexually violent act. You tell me than why the hell should he be registered? You know nothing and are a very hateful angered person who needs help. Oh and by the way a man has to register as a sex offender for urinating in an empty parking lot with no one around not even children. That is a bunch of BS. You need to research before you open your mouth.
He has to reg... because he did wrong, and even if all the therpisits in the world think he is better, and trusting of others, unf... his actions put him under that cat... if he is a offender, I think no matter what happened, depending on the offence they have to reg.... for a certain amount of time, then they are taken off the reg... Permently, at least in Florida they are. Hex

Thank you doctor Phil. You know he did wrong how? I have seen your posts and you think every offender has done wrong. In some cases yes and others no. In this case the girl would not show up for the court dates and when confronted she stated she wanted nothing to do with it that it NEVER happened she told this to the prosecuter who in return let the state press charges on my fiance knowing what this girl had told him. In the police report there was much signs of untruthfulness from the girl and her friends. He was charged on he said she said they said and what this person was told and that person was told by this person and blah blah blah. They let him take a lie detector test and he passed by 99.9% telling the truth. My fiances story stayed the same hers did not the state sought money in the conviction and convicted him. I am so glad that you know all about everyones case to know that they did wrong. How bout all the girls who falsly acuse be put on a registry and there name slandered all over and go to prison for how ever long. Gimme a break. Not all offenders have done wrong. I would say that a phsycologist with a docotrs degree knows a hell of alot more on how to judge someone else by there behavior.
Dr. Phill, I am not, or I would be doing more t.v. shows on things in this nature. Yes, when I first started out I was against all offenders, and preditors, but I have come to understand that not everyone is one, and yes, is labled wrong, but at least I can admit that. (HONESTLY) But there is no way you have seen all my sights I have typed in, or this would not even be a typed in statement towards what I have said, unless your new, and have not had a chance to view my past feelings, up tell the present. I do not know everything, I wish I did, but I do not. I do know what familys go through because of what I went through as a child, and now unf... my son. So I am here to read, (LISTEN TO WHATS BEING SAID) and either try to help, or just say my feelings, that is what this sights for. If people read what I type and do not like it, thats o.k. its their feelings, just like yours towards my comments. But Dr. Phil, I am not. HEX
Another thing thank you for shareing your situation though, I think yur better hafe was wrongly accused, and now that I know the whole details, If and fact he passed the lie dect.... test, and all that happened it is sadd the State labled him as one, and I am sorry. But to be honest It would not surprise me if the State did that, because alot of things the think is justice at the end, honestly is not at all, but I am sure you know that. HEX

The story gets even better. With the girl not taking the stand if he took it to trial he was looking at 25 years! when a sentencing for rape is 3-10 years and the sentencing for sexual battery is 1-5 years ( which is what he got charged with ). When he was released from prison the state put him on probation when his sentencing papers did not state he was to be put on probation upon release. Well guess what they did that to I dont know how many and it was taken to court by another man who they did that to also and he won in return my fiance was taken off and not ONE dime of the 2,000 we paid in did we see! And not to mention he was charged with tampering with evidence but NOT one person seen him do that and EVERYONE was still there. He said if he was gonna do that he would have burned everything not just a blanket. He went to the bathroom and came out and someone else had burned it! They all said it was Paul but Paul believes it was his roomate that did it. Not to mention one of the statements stated they were all upstairs talking about what happened and Pauls room was upstairs and it WAS NOT it was down stairs!
Posted by Anonymous (not registered) on Jan 14, 2008 03:09 PM
I hate using he all the time so I made up a name. I have always liked the name Paul and planned to name my little boy that but I had a little girl and was not fond of the name Pauline. LOL. Anyway the mest up thing was his probation officer at the time was a really cool guy and very nice till he moved up in rank and they give Paul a women who guess what.... She was one behind his sentencing of trying to make him serve 25 years. We tried to have her removed and have someone else take over but we couldnt. That is BS because thats conflict of interest and still she thought Paul was guilty even after the fact he took the lie detector test! You see crap like this happen all over Ohio and nothing is ever done about it. You get the run around about everything. The bad part is is its not just Ohio its EVERYWHERE.
That is sick. Is there some way you can get a attorney and sue for what happened? I know it would be exp... but maybe there would be a lawyer who would do pro-bono work, we have some here in Florida, but I know every State is diffrent on that? I am so sorry for your better hafe, that is why I put in I am not against every offender, or preditor, because there is two sides to every story, and honestly people who are accused sometimes or made to reg... could be vic... like ones who were truely molested. I wish you all the best of luck, truely. Tammy HEX

HaHaHa... you are going to marry a registered sex offender! That's hilarious! Don't be surprised when he does something offensive to your kid. Don't come back here crying that he did something. You're making your bed and will have to lie in it! Poor kids!!!

HA HA HA. Your and A$$. You dont know the whole story so who the hell are you to judge anyone? I have ALL paper work sitting infront of me if I thought that I had something to worry about I would have NEVER have had a child with him. His ex tried that crap in court when we were fighting for custody of his son and daughter and she was told she slandered him one more time they were gonna go after her and prosecute. The same judge handled this case as the custody. He said there was no problem with him having his children that his offence had nothing to do with a child. So you go and run your mouth all that you want, Just remember what goes around comes around. Learn how to read what I post. Dont just go and assume because you make an ass out of yourself .
Havent heard too much on Ohio, I am just sorry theres no help for ya there. Hex

WE RECIEVED A LETTER AND MY FIANCE STILL HAS TO REGISTER IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER A WARRENT WILL BE PUT OUT FOR YOUR ARREST. MY FIANCE SHOWED THEM THE PAPER FROM THE PUBLIC DEFENDERS OFFICE SAYING HE DID NOT HAVE TO COMPLY AND HE WENT AND SHOWED IT TO OUR LOCAL SHERIFFS DEPT. AND THEY KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT AND THEY ARE STILL MAKING HIM REGISTER. AGAIN PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITY'S

My daughters boyfriend had a relationship with a 13 yr. old girl last year. He is now 20, she is now 14. He was arrested last week with 8 counts of unlawful corruption of a minor and 1 count compelling prostitution. His court date isn't set yet. My question is will he do jail time? I know it sounds bad, but I hope he does. They also have an 8month old daughter. I think he is going to plead not guilty even though before he was arrested last year, he admitted to detectives that he did it. He wasn't meradamised at the time so he seems to think it might get thrown out of court.
FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN HE WILL EITHER GET A LONG PROBATION, OR YES PRISION TIME. HE SAID HE HAD SEX WITH A MINOR TO A DEC.. SO THAT OPENLY GIVES THE DEC.. A CASE WITH THE STATE, AND HE WILL EITHER BE LABLED A OFFENDER, WORST CASE PREDITOR. HE WILL HAVE TO REG... (YES, FOR LIFE) 4BUT AS FOR YOUR DAUGHTER, SHE WILL HAVE A LIFE EITHER WITH OR WITH OUT HIM. BUT I CAN TELL YOU AS THEIR CHILD GROWS, HE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO TO NO SCHOOL ACT., OR LIVE IN A FAMILY TYPR PARK, OR SETTING THAT HAS CHILDREN. BECAUSE OF HIS ACTIONS YOUR DAUGHTER, AND GRANDBABY WILL SUFFER, IF SHE STAYS WITH HIM. I KNOW PEOPLE HAVE SEX, AND IT'S BOTH WILLING BUT THAT WAS YOUNG, ON HIS PART, AND NOW WHY AFTER A YEAR IS SHE TELLING ON THEM FOR HAVING SEX? IS IT A CASE OF PARENTS GOT MADD, OR DOES SHE STILL LIKE YOUR DAUGHTERS BOYFRIEND? THE JUDGE WILL LOOK AT THAT AS WELL, BUT EITHER WAY WITH HIS ADM. HE WILL POSSIABLY DO PRISION TIME, AND DEF.. HAVE A LABLE OF SOME SORT, MY GUESS IS PRDITOR,ONLY BECAUSE HE ADM. AND THE AGE OF THE CHILD WHICH IS YES, WHAT HE SLEPT WIHT. GOOD LUCK. TAMMY (HEX, HEXGIRL) FLORIDA
If unlawful corruption of a minor is not considered a sexual offense in your state, he may NOT be on the registry. Many in my state 4 out of 5 are keeping off the registry by making a plea to a crime catagory that normally would give you less time in jail...such as "corruption" but in return the person must take a longer sentence for the crime. This is done rather than be charged with rape that would put you on the registry for life. It is so common, now, that I actually saw a TV play in which this technique was used. Meanwhile, someone else is on the registry for a crime ten years back where this practice was NOT used.
MY SISTER LIVES IN THIS STATE, AND I DON'T THINK THEY DO THAT THERE YET. BUT YA NEVER KNOW THERE ALWAYS IS A FIRST. BUT OLDTIMES HAS A POINT THERE. TAMY RICH FLORIDA HEX, HEXGIRL

Thanks for the reply's.. To answer hexs'question. The charges were filed last year. The detectives came to his house to ask him questions last june. Thats when he told them he had sexual relations with the girl. It has taken this long for the warrant to be issued, and for him to be arrested. I always thought that when the police know you committed a crime, and you admit to it..You will be arrested right then. I guess not. If I was the girls mother I would be so pissed it took this long. Anyway, the mother pressed charges as soon as she found out. The girl is troubled no doubt..and from what I was told was always throwing herself at men, but it's the adults' responsibility to do the right thing, so I in no way blame her although my daughter does. The boyfriend is very immature and doesn't see himself as an adult. He is now 20 and acts like 16. I just hope my daughter will wake up and leave his sorry butt.

After watching last week's 20/20 report on sex offenders and registry's I decided to check in my own county of Clark County, Ohio. I noted - much to my dismay - that it reads that it was last updated in 2004? What is the matter here???????????

There is a difference between sex against a child and an older teen. This is a different generation and both sexes are very active. yes we still have some good kids out there but not many. Also there are some rape cases. but some of the sexual predators really don't belong on thregistry list. Lets wake up america and see what is really going on. Lets take a minutes centurys back to Moses he was what about 100 years old and with a 16 year . Curse him and you curse GOD.

YOU SHOULD SUFFER AND YOU SHOULD HAVE NO RIGHTS TO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. YOU DONT DESERVE FREEDOM, AND YOU SHOULD NEVER GET A BREAK, OR GET TO WALK FREELY ANYWHERE... GO TO THE HOLE AND TAKE IT LIKE YOU MADE THOSE LITTLE KIDS TAKE IT!! TAKE IT SO HARD YOU BLEED! YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE FOR WHAT YOU DID, ABSOLUTELY NONE!! I DONT CARE WHAT KIND OF CHARGE YOU GET.... YOU SHOULDNT GET A CHANCE TO STAND IN FRONT OF A JUDGE! YOU DONT EVEN DESERVE THAT!!! IF YOU TOUCHED A CHILD , YOU SHOULD ROT IN HELLL! YOU SHOULD HAVE A NEON SHIRT YOU HAVE TO EVERYWHERE AND TELL EVERYONE YOU HUMILIATED A CHILD! QUEERS, AND SICK MINDED PEOPLE OUT THERE. I GUESS FINDING OUT ONE OF YOUR MANAGERS IS A FAG AND TOUCHED A LITTLE BOY REALLY MAKES YOU SICK! BUT THIS IS MY OPINION AND IM SURE OTHERS WOULD GREATLY AGREE... IF THEY DONT SOMETHING IS WRONG..........
(IMO)Maybe, its not for YOU to "judge". We have courts with juries to do that, eh? I am not condoning the behavior, but just trying to bring to light who is responsible for upholding Justice. Please rigister.

To all of you people who want sex offenders killed, permanent prison, no second chance. Do you know that Ohio lables people as sex offenders for exposing themselves, peeing in public, watching porn on computers, boys having sex with girls (done from beginning of time), girl lies about age and guy is legal age, adults with adults, just touching the inner thigh of a young person? the next time you find a sex offender online, think about it better. It could be your 16 year old son in prison for 10 years with a permanent label of sex offender for sex with his 15-16 year old girlfriend. And if you would bother to look into the subject, you would find that a very high percentage are first time offenders, and after classes and therapy they never do it again. When you decide this person deserves no second chance (given to murderers, dui killers) and you persecute them after they have served their sentence with your restrition laws (which professionals have found to serve no purpose) you also persecute their families who have to live with the restrictions, put up with you and your kids intolerance, when all they want to do is start over. The stupidity of making them live in certain areas makes no sense at all. If it is a true pedaphile there is nothing to stop him from going across town to molest a child. Do you ever think of that?? Do you understand that like 80% of the people who do molest a child are a family member or a friend of the family??? It is not the offender living in the next block, it is someone you know and trust. You need to get the facts on this subject instead of letting the politician and newspaper hype do your thinking for you.

R. Hart recently released from prison for repeatedly raping his grandaughter is now living in Oregon Ohio on Grisell Rd. Although he may appear to be a kindly old man, beware he is now and always will be a danger to children. He lives in close vicinity to Maumee Bay Park a summer destination to many families with children. I fear for any child who he encounters.

is there anyone who knows a will or william in delaware, ohio living in hayes colony that has made lude and sexual remarks to young boys? my sister lives there and im very concerned for her and her sons. any information would be helpful
Does anyone know a wil or william? Sure, hundreds of 'em. Let your sister handle this problem. I'm sure they have police where she lives. Otherwise, your comment (IMO) appears to be one to strike fear into everyone, that there is a nut on the loose. Conviently, with no name.
I'm curious. How do you know this man, if he lives 20 miles away in a different town? How do you know what he drives? That information is not normally posted on the net, is it?
Readers are sometimes skeptical of postings, because it has been known that some people post others names as a vendetta or to get even for a recent divorce , etc.

I agree with you and know where you're coming from.... the love of my life was charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. She lied to him and told him she was older, there was a couple year difference 2 1/2 to be exact. they had also dated for three years prior to him being charged for the crime. He is now stuck on parole and its crap... he's the sweetest guy i have ever met and treats me like a princess never forcing ne thing upon me.... He is looked at as an animal by those of you who have not done research. you say that "these ppl" should be locked up forever and killed but there is a big difference between two young people experimenting with each other. What makes it even worse.... her parents did not want to press charges because she told the prosecutor it was completely consensual but the state decided to proceed in this action

I think this world is sick!!!!
I mean honestly look at what its come to.
people molesting and raping others!!!!!
thats just wrong.
idk why there are people in this world
who would do such horrible things to
inocent YOUNG human-beings,
how low is that.
I do believe that they need to pay but
death is not the solution,
bcuz "they" will have to rott
and think about what they did everyday for the rest of their lives,
if you can be that sick and wrong then you dont deserve to interact
w/ the world around us.
But no matter if you have been caught or not...
the day will come when you have to pay for what you have done and for the
pain that you caused someone.

In my opinion men/women that are sexually excited by children can't be rehabilitated. They're attracted to children the way that I'm attracted to women. You can't "cure" a heterosexual male from liking women. You can't "cure" a heterosexual female from liking men. You can't "cure" a child molester from liking children. If the penal system is truly meant to rehabilitate, there's no reason to put them in because they can't be rehabilitated. Might as well just put them down. We're quick to put down an animal that shows too much aggression, but a level III predator gets put back on the street! PUT THEM DOWN!

Why don't all states follow Nevada's example and hand down mandatory life sentences for offenders who rape children under the age of 14? I was 2 when it started i'm 27 now and still have flashbacks when i see him out on the streets. And i wasn't the only one, there are 8 that i know of. How is he out walking around?
Good Question (IMO) Maybe no one has come forward to testify against him. Or, if so, maybe he does not fall under the present law of your state. Check it out (the laws) at you state's website. Look for statutes section.

For those of you who believe sex offenders should be given the death penalty, let me give you this scenario...
9 year old girl tells Mom that Dad has been "touching her". Mom calls the authorities, and Dad is whisked away to jail.
Trial occurs, he's found guilty and sentenced to death.
Now the 9 year old is "whammied" again. The 9 year old STILL LOVES her Father. She just wanted the molestation to stop, not for him to be sent away for a long period of time, let alone killed.
She will live with the knowledge that her father was killed because she told.
Do you really want this to happen to children, any more than you want to see them abused? I don't think so.
We start executing sex offenders, you will find the number of reports dwindling.
Why is the child victim humiliated for the rest of their life? I'm a survivor of familial child sexual abuse, and I don't feel humiliated. I never did. The humiliation would have come from how my family dealt with the information I gave them.
If you let the child know that they have done NOTHING wrong, and treat the information like you would treat any other boo boo they might have gotten, you'll find that they get past it much faster and grow into strong, emotionally happy adults.
I can see, after reading the comments here that all of you get your news from Nancy Grace and believe that ALL sex offenders are predatory pedophiles when they actually represent less then 6% of the names on SORN.
But you'd have to take your nose out of entertainment news, and do some research on your own for a change.

"Do you really want this to happen to children, any more than you want to see them abused?"
Yes, I do. I believe that the same loving, nurturing family, along with the same counseling that they'll need because of "daddy" will get them through. But, I'm really not debating the welfare of the child. I feel badly for all of the children, but I would rather the family let the child know that "daddy" went away because he was sick. You can still let the child know that they did nothing wrong. I don't think the "daddy" should live to abuse another just because he was "smart enough" to abuse his own family. It still doesn't sway my opinion that "daddy" can't be rehabilitated and needs to be put down!

To those of you who write such angry judgemental things about those whom you have no knowledge of concerns me. We all have a right to our own opinion thats what being a citizin of this great country grants us.
I don't know how to put this because i am not good at putting feelings into words and I especially don't want to seem judgemental of anyone. I don't know you circumstances either.
My concern is that I have gone on many sights and read comments of many people some who seem so angry at those who have been labeled sex offenders for whatever reason. Since we really don't know what crimes they have really been given this label for I don't understand why so many say that all sex offenders should be put on an island with sharks around them, should burn in hell, or worse be put to death.
These comments friegten me so much because people with these thoughts are actually having laws put into place that will put sex offends to death. Not all those who are on sex registered should be put to death or have to be registered for the rest of their lifes. I am afraid because my son who did something stupid when he was a teenager is on this register and he is a very good person who did a really stupid thing when he was young and now he will have to live with this label for the rest of his life. My heart aches for him and all others who have been labeled this way. If they do no harm after a point and time they should not have to be labeled for the rest of their lifes. Please don't be so angry and quick to judge so harshly what you don't know.
After reading comments like the ones that I have I can't help but think maybe it would be better if they were put to death then they wouldn't have to live in a world so full of hate and anger. Better yet put me out of misery also, I cann't put up with anymore of the unglisness of this world and to have to watch my son go through what he is going through. I don't understand such anger and hate. I love my son so much it hurts to see what he is going through because of people who really don't understand.

It's an ugly, ugly world, and it sounds like you have a good heart. While I do feel that sexual predators can't be rehabilitated and should be put down, it's not a blanket statement. I understand that there are exceptions. I'm not talking about the "mistakes". I'm not talking about the guy who thought she was 18, or the young lovers age 19 & 16. I'm talking about the clear abuse of a child. I'm talking about the old man (or woman) with the 12 year old. I'm talking about the level III (likely to offend again). If they're likely to offend again...PUT THEM DOWN.

I can't say if the sexual offenders list does any good or not, BUT, they don't have enough information on notifications that are being sent out.
People are tagged as a sexual offender for different reasons.
For instance: An 18 yr. old male/female has a relationship with a 16/17 yr. old. At first, it's ok with the parents, then the teenager does something stupid and all of a sudden it becomes the fault of the 18 yr. old. Parents get pissed and pull the old routine "you need to stay away" and call the cops. Next thing ya know the 18 yr. old got him/her self in jail.
Or: Two consenting adults, and for some reason one decides that they don't want to be there any more, the other gets pissed and pulls the victim card out. "I'll teach him/her a lesson that they won't ever forget".
It's happened more that we'll ever know.
In no way do I want to protect someone who actually rapes another person or a true child molester. I just think that if the public has the right to know who is on the sexual offerders list then they should also be told of why he is on that list. It does make a difference!

Let every one know that any offense done to a child is wrong there is no better or worse. A sex offender cant be trusted with children for the woman with the 7 month old daughter excuse me what do u think he will tell u when hes gonna molest or better yet maybe your 7 month old daughter will let u know cause she would never be with someone that could do sexual things to a child, just like her mommy. parents r there to protect there children not there to protect there lovers. Also one time is to many times and studies show that most often if u get caught once think of how many times u got away with it. also for the person who put this in the category with drunk drivers please, r u serious u need to remember this is about protecting the child not the molester. signed fed up...

Sex offenders of children are in there own category which is hell bound and it boggles me how woman will stand all grounds for the men who molested but little concern for the child, for the women of the 7 month old daughter just think when u r having sex with him his thinking of your child and u want it not her thats gross isnt it pretty terrible to say but oh so true.

My wife and I ad been in a custody battle for 8 years. During visitation with the non-custodial parent my step daughter was instructed to go to school and tell them she was raped. The investigation showed numerous inconsistancies in the statements. The Medical exams proved the step child had never had sex! NC withheld exculpatory evidence then after 2 18 months a judge ordered the evidence to be given to me. Even with exculpatory evidence and inconsist statements and a retraction of the statement with an explaination the child only wanted her mom and dad to be back together I was forced to take a plea for felonius restraint of a minor or go to trial. The plea was for 18 months time served! At trial maybe 18 moths after the plea a conviction for first degree rape could have been sustained on nothing but heresay testimony. Needless to say I wanted to go home and return to my family where the step child was not living with the absent parent who had beat my wife on several occasions. Since my release I was informed I had to register as a sex offender for a conviction of a non-sexual crime plea for my freedom. Since my release and restoration of all civil rights and no sactions imposed my civil liberties have been violated repeatedly and FL has attempted to build cases on heresay against me to put me in prison. My children have been removed and taken by the state of FL. It is a shame! A real friggin shame you people think like you do. Sorry if you had a screwed up life. Do you think your screwed up life justifies allowing someone with no contact with my family to screw up my children's lives. I hope all of you who are responsibily for the changes in the laws that allow the abuse my children by the systems feel like justice is served! Go get some counsiling and take your heresay third party anonymous guilty until proven innocent in trial mentality and bury it in the sand. It may not be your fault that you were abused but it is your fault my children are suffering abuse now! My children said in counsiling they hope you and all the people who ruined their lives die! SO THERE YOU! ARE YOU HAPPY?

For those of you who are judging me because a of what someone who never met me or my family said about me and may family you are sick. How can you say I will go to hell. It is not your place to judge me and I am well informed that if you do then you will be in hell yourself. Maybe you already are! The best part is you have the opportunity to see your errors and correct them. If you do maybe your hell here will end.
I personally was also very judgemental about sex offenderd until I became one as a result of heresay. I still believe that if there is physical evidence that someone molested a child that there should be severe penalties. If it was my child there would be no need for anyone else to get involved. The situation would be taken care of. Now my delima here is my children are now victims of the witch hunt you judgemental, mentally injured people have initiated. My though it this. If you are going to injur my children and call me things I am not then I might as well do something to protect my children, put you out of your misery and justify labling me as a criminal. I had no prior felony convictions and take good care of my children. My rights and their rights have been violated by your witch hunt. Do you really think I should sit back and do nothing and let you victimize my children. What would you do? Yeah, think about that. If you push one on the edge one might fall off th edge and then what happens? I hope you are there to see. And please make an island for sex offender to move to. Although I am not a sex offender I would rather live with them than to live with you mentally injured folk. The bad part is there is no place for me to go to get away from you. I would if I could. I have what you have done but I pray you get better!

Who poses more threat to the public? A man convited of taking his wife's child from the family home to her restaurant or a man convicted of DUI, Murder, battery, assult, armed robery, drugs distribution, drug possesion, breaking and entering, etc... This sex offender registry was desinged to inform the public of Rapists and child molesters. If they are not convicted of rape or molesting children then I think the registry is cheapened by other offences. It would better serve the public to notify the public of a drunk driver who moved in next door than to notify them of a guy who took his stepshild from the family home to Walmart when she did not want to go. LOL Your registry is a joke if you actaully look at all of the offences. Why would you want to pay tax dollars to know the guy next door took his step daughter to Wallmart? Seems like the tax dollar is better spent letting you know the guy next door is a drunk or a drug dealer who might run your kids over of sell them crack. Fools are led by other fools. All convitions should be registered and the conviction stated. Also once these people register it if the public wants to know where they move then pay the Law Enforcement agency to find them and update the information. If you take a guy who did not change his address and put him in jail it cost $100 a day of your tax dollars to feed him and cloth him and guard him. One 50 man nation wide unit could be made to just track these people and update the info rather than paying $100 a day to house and feed 100,000 offenders who paid for thier crimes for not reporting a change in jobs or address or whatever... It is a lot cheaper to pay the cops to do their job than to require these people to jump through hoops. This whole thing is a guise for the loss of American rights, the imposition of law to increase profits for polititians who own correctional assets, collect fees from offenders and the public. Shame on you for not seeing it! Maybe a GPS implated at birth on everyone in America would be cheaper. If you are ever accused of anything then they can take away your rights and say bad things about you on the net. Doesn't even matter if evidence proves innocents. You are assused, and you pead to time served to be released rather than sitting in jail for another 2 years waiting to redeem your sell of die in prison. Nice Job People!

Why be so worried about how much money is spent housing sex offenders, anyone i feel that tries to deminish a molester is most likely a offender them selves. Also when u r committed for a sex crime it is based on tiers 1. 2 and 3 and by child, youth etc... so if u are a 18 year old with a 17 year old u are not going to get charged for a sexual offense of a child there are certain rules for all sex offenders.

I want everyone to watch out for Richard G.he is 47 years old and he has 2 counts of GSI one is 2003 and one in 2007. He lives in westside of columbus ohio and he works as a roofer . If you live around his home or wook place be careful he is a very good lier and watch your kids very closely. Also if the company would employee a child molester that is just nasty I would never hire they because he could be out there to just prowl on your kids.

i know ricky from lima, ohio is living within close distance to children should their parents or neighbors be informed? or is after a certain time it not required and they just make sure they make their presence known to authorities when required? ricky is a friend of mine from indiana and i just know he's doing everything he is suppose to do and his time of registering was only for 10 years which is about up. just curious as to ohio laws.

im in love with a convicted child molestor and i have loved him for so long. we are not together and he has since moved to the state of ohio where i see he is registered. you would not think this man would have a label like this attached to him but its true and despite this horrible crime which i loathe i am still every bit as in love with him even now. he has since went on to have another child (family) with somebody else and still remains in contact with his children from his fist wife. we lost ours and i couldnt get my act toghether as to what it was i wanted from this life and i hurt him. i helped his secret go public and i cant take that back but it changed his life and instead of pulling us together is pushed him so far away. this man could see thru my eyes and burn my very soul and after all these years without him he still burns within my heart, he still owns it... i will love no other man like i have loved him and nor do i want to go that distance again, so please read the entire book before you just read the label, some things are just so unreal.., no matter how real they just may be. love you always ricky, babee!

Its bulls**t! hell, one of the guys is now married to his so called victim. AND HE MUST STILL REGISTER!!!!

you shoud keep your kids safe .Keep YOUR KIDS SMART TO FIGHT
i am hated in here. i am a sex offender. do you hate me? do you even know me? would you fight me if you seen me on the streets? would you kick me in the mouth, even if i were homeless, (which i might be if i dont find a job soon!) isnt life hard enough without those foolish types who want all or nothing? is 'all or nothing' the road to the dark side, as master Yoda has explained many times? dont you think that parents should step up the 'watchful eye' a lil more? you guys who think all sex offenders should be killed or not let out of prison should all take a break from the fear mongering and evaluate your own life. here in ohio, its easy to become a sex offender. let me explain this in my next posting....
i went to jail for having sex with a teenage girl. she knew what she was doing, and wanted to do it. her parents knew and condonded this action. anyway, i went to jail. i did my time. but i did my time at madison correction. the anti-sex camp. in this prison i met many men who were on a sex case. one guy, whom i wont name, came to prison on a sex case. he had sex with his soon to be wife. both were older. like in their 30's. they had sex, he had noticed a hicky on her inner thigh, and him knowing hes not one to give out hickeys, he was mad. they argued. he got so upset that he threw his cell phone out of the window, in his house that he owned. broke the window. and he left. she called the cops and wanted to make a domestic violance report, but knowing that she would go to jail also, under new ohio laws, when the cops got there, she claimed that she was nakked. this is all the cops needed for a sexual assualt. so he did 2 years. i did 1 year. i had sex with a minor. he didnt. he is now, under ohio new laws a tier three. i was a tier one, now am a tier 2. he has to check in every 90 days for ever. i only have 22 years to go. is this fair to him? nope. is it easy to become a sex offender under ohios laws? yup! so all who say bad things on this site now, be carefull. you might be next! this is a sex offender state! was my victim hurt from my actions? no. she went on to marry a 29 year old guy. she was 16. they went down south, where its legal to marry a 15 year old. her mom n dad went with them. crazy crap huh...
i know i messed up my life with having sex with this girl. but dont you think the country is wrong in what they did to me? she was the one who looked for me. she was after me. she came to me. even her mom n dad came to me. after i finally let my gaurd down, i got hemped up. my own fault, but should ohio worry about sex that much that they will control who has sex with whom? this is the control that the government wants over americans. this is just a step in many that will take complete control over every aspect of life. didnt moses marry a child? wasnt she like 14? iv been told that age might have went by a different system back then. im not sure, but wouldnt that make moses' child wife even younger? i dont know, but i do know that people need not worry about where every ones peter goes. this is just one more step in complete control. look it up. you want fear mongering? look what our governemnt is trying to do..... the patriot act? almost complete control. grow up everybody!!!

I just want to let everyone know that I too have been dating a registered sex offender and it's disturbing to hear so many people judge when they are unaware of any of these circumstances. In my boyfriends case he was convicted of the attempted rape of his ex-wife. He served all 4 years of the time he was sentenced to. The circumstances surrounding the crime are not mine to tell, but I believe that there is zero chance that he would repeat this crime. He is not a habitual offender and would never deserve the death penalty as some have said. He has three daughters from his marriage that know the situation and adore him. My own three daughters adore him. Because of judgements such as those posted here, he can only hold a job until someone finds out about it. It's sad that we live in a "rush to judgement" society and are unable to forgive. Although he was convicted of attempted rape, his crime is considered a Tier III which requires lifetime registration. I agree the situation is different when the crime involves children, but not all that are labeled sexual predators deserve the title. To me a predator is someone who preys on people habitually. Alot of these posts involve one time incidences. These aren't sexual PREDATORS. They're people that have made mistakes and deserve a second chance.

REMEMBER: This registry DOES NOT COVER ALL PEOPLE LIVING IN OHIO WHO HAVE COMMITTED SEXUALLY-RELATED OFFENSES. It only covers those who have committed offenses since the Registry began. I believe this was in the early '80s. So if a man raped a woman before this registry began, HE WILL NOT APPEAR IN THIS REGISTRY!!

yes, i do agree that any person that committs a sex crme should be locked away, but on the other hand what about the ones that are falsely accused?my 17 yr. old son was set up by this so called friend of his, she has cried rape 3 other times so she gets the attention. this is so wrong, now when this happens people like her need to be locked up and it dosen't matter if you are an adult or juvenille. this is ruining an innoscent life.. thats bs.

I am not a sex offender, but have served time in prisons with many of them over a 21 yr. period.
While I am for stiffer sentencing for those involving infants and children, the state of Ohio is the opposite. The same is true for Ohio's view on those that kill infants and children.....they usually only get manslaughter rather than murder, even though their victim could in no way induce a kill rage in them.
The sex offender registry is a great idea, however it fails to inform the public of facts, which creates a false sense of security within families.
Fact: Most sex offenders in prisons are first time offenders. This statistic relays the forecast that most future sex offenses will involve people with no prior convictions, therefore no registry will identify them.
Fact: Over 90% of sex crimes involve family members, close friends, close associates or neighbors.......most sex offenses do not involve a total stranger.
Do not let the creation of a sex offender registry blind you to these facts. Always be aware of where your children are and what their doing, Always be aware of your surroundings when outdoors even if you feel your at the safest place on earth and never answer the door to a stranger.

"Mom to sex offender"... Own up to the fact that your son is a sexual predator... You don't have sex with 14 year olds and I bet he got the notion it was ok from your attitude whether you "taught" him this or not. Also I think you should burn for stating someone shouldnt get in trouble because no one needed counselling for it.. She probably will remember that in her thirties, forties, and on and it WILL have an affect on her.. Ignorant.

Ignorance of your victim's age is not an excuse. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse. Yes. Lock them up. Keep them away from anywhere children live, play and learn. I was told the same sad story from a sex offender. He was 18 and she was 17. But after I looked up the information through the court, she was his neice and she was 8.
Sexual offenders lie. Who would ever admit to such a terrible crime. And if I saw you on the street - I would kick you in the mouth for your victim. If you ever touched one of my children I would end you.
Posted by anon (not registered) on Apr 01, 2009 09:07 PM
Any woman who would fall in love with a sexual offender has that right. But she should never have children. If she does have children they need to be taken from her. They are no different than women who fall in love with death row murderers and marry them. It is a sickness.
By saying these people just made a mistake, you obviously have not been sexually mollested yourself, or had a child mollested by one of these monsters. There are NO excuses. One child harmed is too many.

Oh the lives a certain sex offender I know has destroyed. The rape victim actually ended up committing suicide as a result. Many others (over 80 counts) are having trouble having solid relationships. He's in for 20 years. I believe castration should be part of the justice for one like this. I do pity his soul, but one must be willing to accept accept the time if they did the crime. For those who were wrongfully committed, I somewhat understand their frustrations, My wife and I were wrongfully accused during fostering kids once. We were accused after they left to live with relatives. They had been abused in many different ways. Turns out they were having flashbacks but couldn't match the thought with the right offenders. Sad that children have to go through this, but more often than not, offenders have had something happen to them.

you people are so narrow minded it's sad, i was convicted of for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, i was 19 at the time, i met a girl at a BAR where she had DROVE and was DRINKING, i had sex with her, and 4 months later i was arrested and i asked the cop why she was cuffing me and she said it was because i was a sick pervert, the girl was 15 years old, so i went to prison for 2 years, now you tell me, if you met someone in a bar under the same circumstances would you even think to ask them for an i.d.???? HONESTLY, not all people that are classified as sex offenders are child molesters, and for the lady that has the 13 year old daughter, if he had intercourse with her then you need to blame your daughter, she knew what she was doing, at 13 you know what is right and wrong, if she was raped, and i mean genuinely raped then i apoligize for my previous statement and i'm trully sorry that she had to go through that, but please try to keep in mind that not all people that are labled as sex offenders are going to break in your house and violate your kids,

I am new to this site and I am speaking from personal experience. I was molested as a child by my great uncle starting at the age of 4 until I was 8. I never said anything because he had me believing that no one would believe me and they would hate me for lying. It took my 5 year old sister saying something so that it finally stopped.
That is raping a child.
Moving on to the present day I am a teacher in a middle school and the kids today start having sex way younger than we did. They are pregnant in middle schools. That is the epidemic in this nation now. Most of the fathers of the babies are in middle school and high school and the parents are pressing charges against these young boys for doing what young boys have always done.
These boys are getting labeled as sexual predators for having sex when they are in their teens by having sex with teens. This is not fair to them. I do not think that these types of cases should be labeled as sexual predators. I have three neices that are 14 and they look like they are 22. You would never know the difference.
Men or woman who rape another person by force or who rape a defenseless child (under 13) should be sexual predators, not the senior who is dating the freshman and because they have and accidental pregnancy the parents automatically ruin thier lives because they feel their daughters life is ruined by being pregnant. It is a joke.
To all concerned I am a female and I see how the teenage girls act in the schools. Let's just say that teenage boys are no longer the only ones with little black books and stars next to the names. The girls today are very loose with thier favors and anyone that will be with them, they take.

Can a person released from prison live in the home of a child that has been molested by this man. This man was sent up because he had molested a family manner and this person testified against him. He is now out and living with his daughter. Her daughter was molested by this man when she was only a small child and could not testify against him. Now she is 13 years old. Can this man live in the same household with children. I just need to know the laws in Ohio and West Virginia.

My 18 year old son is about ready to be convicted of a sex offense. He will be labled as a sex offender. For having consential sex with another teenage girl. To me its not right. I feel he should be punsished yes, but not labled, and looked at like he has raped someone, or he is a monster. The girl is gonna move on with her life, and my son wont. My goodness some of these teens that even have a naked picture on the phone are being charged and labled as offenders. Its just not right. The laws should change a little as far as labling goes. Half the teenagers down here in southern Ohio are 14, 15, 16, and dating 18, 19, year olds. And there allowed. Untill they get the charge, then there life is ruined for 10 years having to register.

I was wondering is there a way to "sign up" to be contacted on release of an inmate? While in h.s. my boyfriend raped me. I thought it was my duty and all girls went through this. I now know better. about two years ago he was convicted or raping another girl. I did an interview with the police. I'm afraid hes going to track me down when he gets out and i know its coming soon

This is for "donesuffering" ... You can use this site: http://www.sexualoffenders.com/track/offendertrack it does cost a little money but I find it amazing.

The people who post comments on this site need to learn to use a little thing called Spellcheck.
donesuffering: You have contacted your "public safety" people about this? In many states, they will notify you free, I think.

The Statute of Limitation does not run out on a sex crime against a child.

One day we will treat it like middle east countries and punish people for their crimes publicly and viciously. If any of these child "sex offender" crimes happened to my children court would be a option not offered to the offender. Stand up people, America is or was not founded with these laid back approaches.

My friend is 21 and had met a girl. She said she was 18 they hung out and went back to his place. They ended up having sex; when they were done they talked and she told him she was 16 but really liked him and wanted to be with him.He was sickened by it and told her that they should not talk any more. He went to the hospital thought about suicide. He is in counseling for it.How she went to the police and said she was raped all though there is evidence saying she was not raped by my space and text messages saying she loved him and she has no regrets doing what she did. That should be ruled out now when he talked to the police they said she was 13 but did not aresst him for being honest he has told the truth everytime and always went there everytime they asked. I'm wondering what will he be charged for and how much time is he looking at.

How about all the perverted female clerks who would stand and leer at young men getting a military medical exam. They
should all be arrested as perverts. SICK LITTLE PERVERTS!

Are registered sex offenders allowed to join dating sites
Posted by mike (not registered) on Jul 07, 2009 07:08 AM
It depends on alot of circumstances. If they are on probation/parole is part of thier sentence to not join any dating site. Also does the dating site allow registered sex offenders to join.

I was convicted on circumstantial evidence but provided 3 forensic pathologists reports and polygraph evidence as well as other supporting evidence that I did not commit the crime I was convicted of. Therefore now I am suffering the consequences of being labeled as an offender when I was told by my PO at the time that I did not have to explain myself because I did nothing wrong. An APA professional told me I was at little or no risk to re-offend had I even offended. So now I have the Adam Walsh Act to deal with too. How do you think I feel going through all of this for a crime that I did not commit but my daughters' mother had to block me from visitation and eventual custody somehow? The Prosecuter even said that he could prove no molestation.
Anon, Jul 18: check with his probation officer (?) or your state statues to see what laws are written concerning offender.

Hello all i am a very frustrated mom. My daughter was raped at the age of 4 by an extreamly close family friend and the court process is so frustrating to go and sit there time and time again and look at this 18yr old rapist who lives life so good in jail getting fatter and fatter repping that he's in a gang now little punk who sits in court telling me to go F my self is so hard exspecially since my daughter is hurting herself all the time and so agressive twards other children is so hard how do moms deal with the guilt of not being able to protect your child and the frustration of the aftermath thats caused. I feel so alone and I really wish there were some kind of support groups out there for parents and child victims I moved to escape the torment his family was putting my older child through and boy they dont offer no services at all wow...

I am concerned with all the information regarding sexual offenders. yes, some sex offenders deserve what they are getting. What I am reading here is all sex offenders are being put all in the same category.
What about the young boy who had an under age late teen sexually come on to him and now he is being charged as a sexual offender? Is that fare? Shouldn't the girl in this type of case be charged also? In some of these cases the parents are the ones charging after they found out their darling daughter is sexually active. This is happening more times than the general public is aware but they all end up on the same registry without distiction.
And the case where the boy mooned out a car window on a DARE and now is on the sexual offender registry for LIFE? Shouldn't this young boy get community service verses the sexual offender registery? Are you going to treat this young boy with hate or fear if he moves in your neighborhood just because he mooned out a car window, a simple teen age joke.
Each case needs to be looked at individually. People seem to be less afraid of a murder moving in their neighborhood than a sexual offender. Why? They don't know about the murderer because their is no registery for them.
Frustrated mom? If there are no support groups in your area: start one yourself! Sometimes churches or others will offer a free space for such things. I do suggest you have as a member of your group: an experienced counselor who is familiar with sexual offending issues. Good luck on this.

When I was 2 yrs old I was raped my by uncle(my dad's brother) He spent time in jail for it but if I see him at family togethers I walk away from him. He's made my life hell and im now 23 yrs old. I still have problems going around him and I always will. Im telling anyone who is being raped by someone tell someone. It's not worth the pain and nightmares.

I find it to be that there are many sexual offenders living in my neighborhood. Im moving within a week because I just found out that my own neighbor is one and I am worried for the sake of my 3 children as well as my own well being. I just dont understand how so many nasty people are walking around freely. Im starting to wonder if there is any justice in this world we live in today.
anon august 9: You can't live in fear all your life. Just think of the killers, robbers and such in your neighborhood. It will make you nuts! Think: just because someone broke the law, once, it doesn't mean they will do it again. Some do. Some don't. To make your children fearful is a "double wammy". It is a shame that this registry has created so much fear.

Not all sex offenders are charged with crimes against children. the one's that aint should be able to live in a community. without being forced out of their homes.

As I read all of your post what do you deem as a deviate sexual crime I ask for a reason. I was convicted of a sex crime 14yrs ago I was dumb and stupid. I was 19 she was going on 16 I made a bad decision choice and I definitl learned from my mistake.I know there are very diffrent forms of sex offenders so can you honestly lump everyone into a group or category and classify them as horrible human beings.I'm not saying that someone hurting a youngster shouldnt go unpunished I despise people who take advantage of younger children and yes I agree some should pay a very heavy price but know the facts for sure before you pass judgement on someone.I know in Michigan you get caught urinating in public its classifed as a sex crime and are placed on the registry for 25yrs just for peeing in public behind a bush thats rediculous.. Just my thoughts sorry if Ioffended anyone herer just wanted to say my piece

Why are these predators allowed to ride public transportation? it is so appalling to me when i see school age children riding public transit alone and see these perverts leering at these young girls and boys. these children are at the mercy of these perverts. when they get on and off buses alone. these children talk loud on their cell phones, the girls will talk to these strangers and sometimes they are followed off the buses. school officials are making these children potential victims by allowing them to ride public transportation without concern for their safety. it is definitely a tragic waiting to happen. when school starts that when you really see them out here on the buses all day just riding around looking at these young kids. it makes me sick.
To anon sept 7: Maybe... just maybe, they are riding the bus just like YOU! How is it, that you know all the offenders riding this bus? Sounds like you have some issues? (IMO)
Posted by Amazed in Va. (not registered) on Sep 14, 2009 11:40 AM
Anonymous Sept. 7 - I have to agree with Oldtimer. I think you may have some issues. Children are more likely than not to be molested by family and friends of the family. People have this deception that molesters are strangers lurking in dark corners or public transportation. You see people all day riding the bus and looking at children? You must be the bus driver, so do you report this "suspicious activity?"

I don't understand judging and punishing everyone the same. Innocent men/women on the registry? No. A majority probably are people who made a bad decision as a young person, people that were lied to by a teenager, etc. They do not deserve to spend the rest of their lives on a registry that has proven only to fuel the fire. These people have paid their debt to society for their ignorance, leave them alone! It is sad enough that a majority of them have had their civil rights violated by being reclassified even though their cases are years old and they have served their time! Their lives are hard enough trying to find work and a home which is virtually impossible.

The more and more I read this I would be very interested in doing something about it, getting "pissing in public" off the sex crime list, and other ridiculous things, if you pull up the list you want to know that who you are looking at is a threat, and people who are not a threat should not be on there. If you agree with this please contact me firstname.lastname@example.org lets do something about it!

I thought that you could go on-line and look for any of these criminals in your area. Why then am I directed to third party links that offer me a “report” only if I provide MY personal information? It seems this is just a come-on to sell me some type of product or service. So I’ll ask: did I miss the link to get to the information or not? Why should I have to give personal information to a third party to get information essential to the safety of my family?
Yeah, I agree wayne co site kinda stinks SHOULD be easy to go thru and access important info. they are all lacking I have found. looked up a convicted offender I KNOW is living in OH and so hard to find him in SORN change this crap all the time. Offenders have too many rights. With all of the money we pay youd think they could find a decent webmaster but in saying that Im sure my identifying info will be leaked. as of this weekends healthcare vote its all going to the crapper anyway. We'll see them all in front of us in line at the doctor.
Never fear you family members of sex offenders. Our jails are full! so even tho' the TV shows like Nancy grace or Montel talk about putting them away for life, they get minutes on the year... you now it and I do. so even of your husband or boyfriend had sex with a non or consenting minor and sentenced to 16 mos (one post I read) they wont spend any of it. as we have seen most horrendously in the 18 year kidnapping case, the parole officers dont check either. I adopted my daughter that was abused early in life for years and no one notified her or us EVER that he was now out, and has been for years only after endless search of the internet did I find THAT out... so breathe easy your hubbies and bfriends are safe in the current system.

Hi, My soon-to-be EX husband (stepfather) sexually molested my son for 4 years from 12 to 16 years old. My son just came forward this spring when he was 17 and begged not to go to the cops until we got him (stepfather)out of the house. He was afraid of the stepfather and still is. He would like to go to the police now that the stepfather is out. My son is now 18 and an adult. Does anyone out there have any information that would help us. I am worried that because he waited until 18 we will have a hard time prosecuting the stepfather. I would really like to see him punished for what he's done, but we are both afraid that nothing will happen to stepfather and that he will retaliate against us. Looking for experience here in Lucas County OH or support group.....anything. Thank you

Sex offender laws have become nothing but pure politics. They do nothing to protect the public. Do some research. The politicans use these law as vote getters to a naive public that falls for all of this. The politicians know the facts but want to buy your votes to make you "feel" safe. Do the politicians ever tell you that the most likely person to molest your child is someone you already know & trust. The registry is so muddled in Ohio after the enactactment of the Adam Walsh Act, how could anyone use this to know who truly is dangerous. With AWA in Ohio, 60% of low level offenders suddenly became Tier 3??? Doesn't make much sense or give one any confidence in these registries. There are inherent problems with these laws. The research shows they are not effective & in many cases are making situations more dangerous. Example with all of the residency restrictions to make you "feel" safer---many sex offenders become homeless and wander who knows were. People need to wake up. SEX OFFENDERS are big business. Who is paying any attention to murderers, burglars, arsonists, drug dealers, or slew of other crimes. Where are the registries tracking all of those criminals? The politicians know just use the term "sex offender" and the public is so uneducated on the subject-- they will be voted in to office & can waste our limited tax dollars on something THEY KNOW is of little to no value---but, it makes you "feel" safe & keeps them in office.

"After doing a search of my area, I found out that there were 4 registered sex offenders on the list within a 3 mile radius of my area. Scary right? Although you may think that the chances of your kids or anyone in your family falling victim to one of those 4 people may be slim, is it really worth it to take the chance?"
Actually your children are more likely to be killed in a car accident than be molested by a registered sex offender. Scary right? Maybe you should stop driving and lock your kids in your house. That will keep them safe... Unless your house catches on fire.

After doing research there are 17 offenders in 12 different locations in a 2 mile radius. 5 men that live in one apartment on my street that preyed on youth boys! can you believe that. I have a seven year old brother that runs up and down this street playing all day long, now how am I supposed to feel.
In 1997, I was framed by a 25 year old girl that was a cry wolf type of girl and I was accused of rape by this girl in which there is no proof I did the crime. I was put on a polygraph exam by the police and I was on 1000 mg of medication at the time, for 3 1/2 hrs without a lawyer present to defend me. I was questioned, badgered, hounded and confused of what the police was saying and telling the police the truth of my innocents, but after 3 1/2 hrs of me being trapped, I lied to police just to go free of this intrapment by police, under duress I made up stories just to end it, but it backfired on me. I was arrested and was hired a court appointed lawyer. The lawyer told me that if I took this case to trial and lost, that I would do 20-25 years in prison and there was no way of going free of these charges and in my best interest for me to take a plea for a lesser sentence of 4 years in prison and 6 years probation. From 2001-2010, I have had no police contacts and I feel that I should be off the maine state sex offenders website in which they put me with child sex offenders. I can not work due to a criminal record and this false charge of rape from this girl, it has ruined my life and i want to get my good name back. I hate all types of sex offenders and even though I got charged, I am not a rapist.

Sometimes people get a sex offender charge for having sex with someone 3 years younger than them. My friend was 19 when he had a RELATIONSHIP with a 16 year old. She wasnt happy when they broke up so she pressed charges. Tell me if that aint right? Now he is accused of being a sex offender and we cannot be as close as we want because I have children and he has a status when he did nothing wrong. How many people in the world date people several ages in difference? So if a guy is 40 is it ok for him to be dating a 18 year old. To me that is nasty. She knew what she was doing and now him and everyone involved with him has to pay for it.

Have any of you ever seen any actual research on sex offenders, labeling, and these registrations? Are you aware that sex offenders actually have a LOW rate of recidivism (likelihood of re offending)? Are you aware that a GREAT DEAL of accused are charged and labeled as sex offenders not for any serious offense, but for mundane infractions? Are you aware that accused are forced into plea "bargains" by overzealous prosecutors seeking high conviction rates? Have you pondered that sex offender labeling is the modern-age Scarlet Letter, and that it is nearly impossible to move on with your life, once so labeled? And, most importantly, are you aware that the RESEARCH indicates that all of this labeling does no good to protect communities or children?
What an exercise in futility.

I was dating a guy, and we were together for a couple months. it took my friend to tell me we should go looking online, when my best friend was told by someone she works with, that he was a sex offender. I didn't want to believe them, but when I went searching and found him on the esorn site, I almost died. I can't believe I was with someone who could actually do that to someone. I was raped a few years ago, and all thei man done to me, was lie under his breath. he's 36 yrs old and I don't think he knows what the truth is. I could write a book on him and his past, with lying and the whole nine years in the short couple months we were together. NEVER let your best friend hook you up with someone unless you do a background search. Never know what you will get yourself into. AMEN!!!!

I dated a man I found out went to prison for admitting to 16 counts of sexual assault to his own children. He never told me and I have a son. And the state of oregon let him off knowing he did these crimes. So he is able to be around small children still. He is free and clear. I am sickened that he walks free. I wish I could tell everyone his name so they dont let kids by him.

People who hate all sex offenders the same need to look at themselves in the mirror. I know a guy who got put on the registry for urinating in public. The registry made him homeless and ruined his marriage. He committed suicide as a result.
Go to sleep tonight knowing your hatred fueled the laws that killed my best friend. He never hurt a soul.

HOW long are we AS MOTHERS/FATHERS going to allow this!!!! I check the registry constantaly. NO ONE gets the benefit of the doubt!

Stop the stupidity...other countries are laughing at us and they have every right to...we let this get so out of hand the police don't have enough man power to watch the predators...and because of it children are getting hurt...stop the madness...create a classification system and 14 is not a child...at 14 I clearly knew what I did and did not want...all my friends were having sex with older men that didn't stick around long enough for anyone to know their name and the guys that do cuz they love the girl get their lives ruined...I had huge breasts at 11 men yelled things at me all the time...My mom watched me like a hawk educated me and all was fine...I didn't have sex till almost 19 and got my college degree...my mom dated my dad at 16 and he was 24....if this happened today he would be in jail and I never would have been born.... As MLK expressed...we all have a right to be treated like human beings...I mean if things get any worse...might as well open concentration camps and pull out the arm patches...I will be the first one in line to walk into the fire and I am innocent but could not live in a world such as that...rather meet my maker
