In 1997, I was framed by a 25 year old girl that was a cry wolf type of girl and I was accused of rape by this girl in which there is no proof I did the crime. I was put on a polygraph exam by the police and I was on 1000 mg of medication at the time, for 3 1/2 hrs without a lawyer present to defend me. I was questioned, badgered, hounded and confused of what the police was saying and telling the police the truth of my innocents, but after 3 1/2 hrs of me being trapped, I lied to police just to go free of this intrapment by police, under duress I made up stories just to end it, but it backfired on me. I was arrested and was hired a court appointed lawyer. The lawyer told me that if I took this case to trial and lost, that I would do 20-25 years in prison and there was no way of going free of these charges and in my best interest for me to take a plea for a lesser sentence of 4 years in prison and 6 years probation. From 2001-2010, I have had no police contacts and I feel that I should be off the maine state sex offenders website in which they put me with child sex offenders. I can not work due to a criminal record and this false charge of rape from this girl, it has ruined my life and i want to get my good name back. I hate all types of sex offenders and even though I got charged, I am not a rapist.
