I know an offender and he is very sorry for his actions he has been in treatment. The offender is my husband and I Love him we have a family and are sick of people treating us like we are poisonous. We have 2 kids we don't want them to be miss treated for their fathers actions. We just want to be a happy family.

I agree with Angie my boys have been taken away from their father and what are we the mothers supposed to tell our kids about why they can't see or even visit thier father. My husband is an offender and has done his time and been in treatment which has helped him be a better person society needs to understand that no matter what men ands women do they can get help and change to better out in society with all the other freaks out there. My family are going to be moving back to Iowa to be close to my family and we would like for DHS to stay out of our lives. They think that they can run the offenders lives. If the offender like my husband who has paid the price of being away from the boys and I that we get the chance to rebuild our life together without outsiders trying to tell what we can and can't do. We would like to be able to go out in public without people pointing and stareing.

Did you know?
While drugs and alcohol are often involved in sexual assaults, drugs and alcohol do not cause sexual offenses to occur. Rather, drug and alcohol use may be a disinhibitor for the offender, while being under the influence may increase a potential victim's vulnerability.
