My husband was convicted of aggrevated sexual battery in 1988. He was relaesed in 1997.His offense was against his step-daughter(inappropriate touching). He and his step-daughter have gotten through this and she has forgiven him. He has been out now for 10 years and other than a traffic violation has never had a problem. He works hard everyday. We have 2 young boys and nine children alltogether(mostly grown). Recently we bought a house.We got a letter saying we were 946 ft from a park and we have to move. We lived previously at an address that was closer to a pre-school...no problems there and before that 7 years at a residence that was a block from a school(of coarse theat was when he first got out and the laws changed in 2003?..Anyways we arent rich..we cant afford to move again..My sons need their dad around...why now are we being picked on.
