Yes could you tell me if a person has been convicted of a sex crime in the state of NM is he allowed to leave the state on overnight trips? There is a person that has listed a buisiness that he gave that he works at here in town when actualy he has never worked but hauls automobiles from here to out of state then back in this state. How is this legal

The law that requires sex offenders to register, IMHO, is considered not to be punitive. If it punished, then this would be double jeopardy and against the consitution of many states and US gov. Therefore, "movement" cannot be restricted. THIS is one of the reasons that this registry is foolish. NO one has ever shown how it protects children. Go figure.
